By transacting with Optimax Computers, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are subject to change at any time without prior notice. All transactions shall be governed by the latest version of these terms at the time of engagement.

1. Warranty Policy
1.1 Warranty Duration
Warranty is only valid for the duration explicitly stated on the product invoice. No claims will be entertained after this period.
1.2 Checking Warranty
Items sold under a "checking warranty" are only covered for functional inspection at the time of purchase. This warranty does not cover hardware failure due to short circuits, dead components, burns, or user misuse.
1.3 Local Warranty (Pakistan-Based Warranty)
Scenario A (Repair-First Approach): We will attempt repair first. If repair is not feasible, a replacement will be offered based on availability.
Scenario B (Direct Replacement): In some cases, direct replacement may be offered, depending on product type and vendor policies.
Depreciation-Based Warranty Charges: After a defined period, warranty claims may incur charges (e.g., 30% after 1 year, 60% after 2 years). These charges are product-specific and subject to change.
1.4 International or Vendor Warranty
Items covered under international/vendor warranty will be handled strictly according to the vendor’s RMA policy. Repair or replacement timelines are beyond our control and may vary.
1.5 Refunds
Refunds are only issued at our sole discretion and only when both repair and replacement options are unavailable. No exceptions.
1.6 Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty is rendered null and void in the following circumstances:
Use with previously damaged or incompatible components
Loss of original stamped invoice
Loss of original product packaging (for new items)
Tampering with or breaking warranty seals
Claiming warranty for a component paired with a damaged component
Claims made by individuals not listed as the original buyer on the invoice
1.7 Warranty Handling Authority
All warranty decisions — including approval, repair, replacement, or refund — are solely at the discretion of Optimax Computers.
1.8 Claim Process & Timelines
Warranty begins only when the product is physically handed over to our store — not when the customer first informs us.
Diagnosis may take up to 7 working days. Total claim resolution may take 2–20 working days, depending on vendor processing.
Any dead/artifact-related responsibility and risk remains with the customer during diagnosis.
Customers are expected to cooperate with the process.
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be discussed and settled mutually.

2. Purchasing from Optimax
2.1 Final Sale Policy
All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be allowed due to change of mind.
2.2 Buyer’s Responsibility for Compatibility
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure product compatibility with their existing systems. We do not offer refunds for incompatibility.
2.3 Shipping Policy (All Locations)
Shipping is provided for both Karachi and outside Karachi orders, but only after 100% advance payment.
All shipping risks (loss, delay, damage) are borne by the buyer. We are not liable once the item has been handed over to the courier/logistics provider.
2.4 Advance Payments & Booking
Booking Tokens:
For items ≤ PKR 85,000: 10% token required
For items > PKR 85,000: 20% token required
Booking tokens are valid for up to 5 days only and are non-refundable.
2.6 Buyer Awareness Clause
Buyers are expected to research product specs and usage thoroughly before purchase. Staff may assist, but final responsibility lies with the buyer.
2.7 No Buy-Back or Exchange Policy
Optimax Computers follows a strict no buy-back and no exchange policy at any stage of the deal. In exceptional cases where we voluntarily agree to a buy-back or exchange, we reserve the full right to set any terms, conditions, or pricing we deem appropriate. No negotiation or entitlement shall apply.

3. Bulk Orders
3.1 Advance Requirement
A 100% advance may be required to confirm bulk orders, depending on the nature of the product and vendor availability.
3.2 Lead Time
Delivery lead time may vary by product and vendor availability. Always confirm expected delivery timelines prior to order placement.
3.3 Pricing & Delivery
Bulk order prices are pre-negotiated and exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges will be quoted separately and must be paid by the buyer.

4. Aftersales Service
4.1 Support Scope
Our support includes FAQs, written guides, and basic technical assistance to help you operate your products confidently.
4.2 Service Assessment
Optimax Computers will solely determine whether a product qualifies for repair or replacement based on its condition and warranty status.
4.3 Out-of-Warranty Costs
Products that fall outside warranty coverage may incur service and repair fees, which will be communicated in advance.
4.4 Customer Relations
Our team is available during business hours to address queries and support you post-sale. However, response times may vary during high-volume periods.
4.5 Limitation of Liability
Optimax Computers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to:
Loss of data
Business interruption
Product misuse
Shipping-related damage or delay
Failure caused by third-party accessories or user intervention

5. Miscellaneous
5.1 Proof of Purchase
A valid original invoice is mandatory for warranty claims or returns. Photocopies or verbal confirmations will not be accepted.
5.2 Ownership Transfer
Once a product is sold or repaired and returned, ownership is transferred to the buyer. Any post-sale issue is considered a fresh case.
5.3 Dispute Resolution
All disputes will be addressed per these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of abuse, fraud, or non-compliance.
